The date of elections in Pakistan changed within a few hours.
In fact, the lawyer of the Election Commission of Pakistan told the three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon that the general elections will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa ordered the lawyer to talk to President Arif Alvi about and inform them about the same.
After this Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and Attorney General went to meet the President.
After some time a statement was issued from the Rashtrapati Bhavan, in which it is said that it has been agreed to hold the elections on February 8, 2024.
It will give detailed information about this to the Supreme Court on November 3.
The Supreme Court told the Election Commission that this date should not be changed.
