Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday met Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and sought space for an office for the Aam Aadmi Party in the capital Chandigarh.

CM Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party has now become a national party. In the recently held by-elections, AAP has won in Ludhiana and Gujarat.

Apart from this, the party also has MLAs in Goa and there is a government in Punjab. The Chief Minister said that we now fulfill all the conditions for the party office in Chandigarh. He said that the Governor has assured that a place for the party office will be provided as per the rules and conditions.

Alberta man killed after crane collapses at Saskatoon construction site

Police say an Alberta man who was rushed to hospital Saturday after a crane collapse in Saskatoon has died. Officers had been dispatched to a construction site on Webster Street in the city's northeast for an industrial accident.
