Sidhu Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh may contest the Lok Sabha elections. There are reports that he is considering contesting as an independent candidate from Bathinda.

According to sources, nomination papers are also being prepared for this. However, no official information about this has been given by Balkaur Singh or his family so far.

It is said that earlier the Congress had offered him a ticket but the matter did not materialize and the Congress gave the ticket to Jeet Mahendra Singh Sidhu from Bathinda but he is facing opposition, in such a situation, he has to change the candidate.

Speculations are also being made. Let us tell that Jeet Mahinder Singh has contested from Sabo ki Talwandi on Shiromani Akali Dal ticket.
