Hamas launched an attack from Gaza on October 7.

About 5,000 rockets were fired by Hamas on Saturday.

Hamas gunmen also infiltrated Israeli territory.

Civilians on both sides are paying a heavy price for this deadly bombing.

The Palestinian militant group Hamas claims it has taken more than 150 Israeli hostages.

1707 places have been targeted so far in Israel's retaliatory attack on Gaza.

Meanwhile, many mosques were also attacked by them.

Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered a "total siege" of the Gaza Strip on Monday, saying authorities will cut off electricity supplies to Gaza and prevent food and fuel from reaching the area.

Meanwhile, Israel's infrastructure Minister Israel Katz also ordered an immediate cutoff of water supplies to Hamas-controlled Gaza.

In this war which started from October 7, 1665 people have died so far, while 2300 people have been injured.

Global Affairs Canada cited reports that one Canadian has died in the area and two others are missing.
