Dealing a major blow to Aam Aadmi Party's former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is in jail in the Delhi liquor scam, the Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday rejected his bail plea.

Earlier, Manish Sisodia has been refused bail from the lower court to the Supreme Court. On the other hand, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court today on the petition against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal.

The court has asked the ED why the Chief Minister of Delhi was arrested just before the Lok Sabha elections. The Supreme Court has set the next date of hearing on May 3 seeking answers to 5 questions.

Police have charged a man with three counts of aggravated assault for stabbings at the Calgary Stampede last month.
