Farmers to March to Delhi Despite Police Opposition
The first batch of 100 farmers from the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana will leave for Delhi on foot on Friday. If they clash with the police during their journey, they have vowed to surrender to arrest. Despite the Haryana Police's refusal, the farmers have decided to proceed.
According to reports, senior officers of the Punjab Police held a meeting with farmer leaders at the Shambhu border today regarding their "Delhi Chalo" march. The meeting lasted for about half an hour, but the farmer leaders remained adamant that they will go to Delhi.

Another day of heavy fog, near-zero visibility in Metro Vancouver
Dense fog has reduced visibility to near-zero for the third straight day in Metro Vancouver, creating potentially hazardous travel conditions.
Environment Canada says a fog advisory is in effect for the Greater Vancouver area, as well as the Fraser Valley, Sunshine Coast and eastern Vancouver Island.
At Vancouver International Airport, several flights arriving from other affected communities such as Nanaimo, Comox, Powell River and Campbell River have been cancelled, while many arrivals and departures are delayed.

West Edmonton Mall suspect added to Canada's Most Wanted list after 2023 shooting
Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that injured three people and caused an hours-long lockdown at West Edmonton Mall last year.
Officers responded in August 2023 to an exchange of gunfire between two groups in the mall parkade, and police say it was targeted.
