Students at a Terrace private school are mourning the loss of two classmates killed along with their mother in a head-on crash as they drove to school last week. Surrey RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying two men who robbed a bank in Fleetwood.On March 9, 2022 at 4:38 p.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of a robbery at a financial institution in the 15900-block of Fraser Highway. Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambia was shot dead during a kabaddi tournament at Mallian Khurd village, in Nakodar. Shooting happened while a match was being played on Monday evening. Media reports suggest Sandeep had come to attend the tournament and some people were taking selfies with him when some assailants arrived in a car. Two assailants shot the kabaddi player dead and fled. Police are trying to track down the killers. Sandeep was a popular kabaddi player and belonged to Nangal Ambia village, near Shahkot.
