Ford CEO sees electric vehicle price war as EV costs decline
Ford's chief executive says the global auto industry is headed for a huge price war in the coming years as electric vehicle costs drop and companies sell EVs priced around $25,000.
CEO Jim Farley told the Bernstein Strategic Decisions Conference on Wednesday that the $25,000 electric vehicle will democratize EVs.

24 year old Woman dies after being pinned under SUV in Calgary
Police in Calgary say a 24-year-old woman has died and a man was badly hurt after a crash in the city's downtown.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday summoned Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over the National Herald case, which was closed by the investigating agency in 2015.

Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela, an elderly leader of the former Cali cartel that smuggled vast amounts of cocaine from Colombia to the United States in the 1980s and 1990s, has died in a U.S. prison, his lawyer said Wednesday.

Premier Jason Kenney says Ottawa's decision to decriminalize possession of small amounts of illegal drugs in British Columbia will likely result in a dramatic increase in drug use, violence, trafficking and addiction.

Edmonton Jury finds father, son guilty in killing of 2 Metis hunters
An Edmonton jury has found two men guilty in the shooting deaths of two Metis hunters in rural Alberta.
Jacob Sansom and Maurice Cardinal were found dead on the side of a road near Glendon in March 2020.
Anthony Bilodeau was found guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter and his father Roger Bilodeau was found guilty of two counts of manslaughter.
A spokeswoman for the victims' families thanked the Crown for bringing justice for the ``senseless murders.
