In Punjab, 12 people, including Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Khadoor Sahib Manjinder Singh Lalpura, have been convicted in a case of beating and molesting a woman 12 years ago. The district court of Tarn Taran, while hearing the case on Wednesday, said that the convicts will be sentenced on September 12. The police have arrested 7 people, including the MLA, who have been sent to Goindwal Sahib jail by the court.
