Items belonging to missing Newfoundland man spark resumed search in B.C. park

The search has resumed for a Newfoundland and Labrador man missing in British Columbia since last Thanksgiving. RCMP in Princeton, B.C., say belongings believed to be those of Jordan Naterer were found July 4 in the provincial park where the 25 year old was hiking solo in October 2020. Police have not described the items but say in a statement they were found by a volunteer searcher in a remote area of Manning Provincial Park, 175 kilometres east of Vancouver. Alberta RCMP say a suspect remains at large following a fatal shooting on a highway south of Edmonton earlier this month, with investigators still working to determine a motive.
