A 27 year old man, Hayden McCorriston, has been charged in connection to a series of sexual assaults, which occurred over a three-day period between March 31 and April 2, 2022 in Burnaby and Vancouver. The RCMP is investigating a fatal shooting yesterday in central Alberta. Police received a report of a shooting on a rural road west of Eckville. A 46 year old man was found with life threatening injuries and later died in hospital. Police say no one has been taken into custody. On June 20, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Sylvan Lake RCMP received a report of a shooting on Range Road 34 West of Eckville. RCMP are asking the public for their assistance in this tragic event.
