Victoria police say two men have been arrested in an investigation that led to the seizure of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and other drugs. Police say they also found a loaded firearm. The bust followed an investigation into a ``dial-a-dope'' drug trafficking operation in the city in which suspected traffickers took orders for drugs by phone or text messages. The names of the accused and what they have been charged with have not been released.

A 50 year old Fredericton man says he is sorry he shot and killed four people in August 2018. Matthew Raymond is on the witness stand for a third day as he stands trial for four counts of first-degree murder. Yesterday he told the jury he thought the people around him were demons coming to kill him, but today says he no longer believes in the presence of demons. Two people died in an early morning apartment fire in Penticton yesterday. RCMP spokesman Sergeant Jason Bayda says the bodies were found after a structural engineer deemed it safe for emergency personnel to enter the ruined building and begin a search. Nearly 200 BC Ferries passengers finally disembarked from a broken-down ferry Tuesday night after being stuck aboard for hours.
