Approx 198 Pakistani nationals, who got stuck in India since the lockdown have now left for their motherland. One dead, 6 injured after boat crash near Toronto beach

Police say one person died and six others have been injured in a boat crash near Woodbine Beach in eastern Toronto. The Toronto Police Marine Rescue unit says the boat crashed into rocks early this afternoon about 75 metres from shore. Six people were originally believed to be hurt but police say that officers have discovered a seventh person who was injured. They say one person rushed to hospital without vital signs has died of their injuries, three others were also taken to hospital while three were treated on scene.

Significant quantity of drugs and cash seized from residence

A recent search warrant executed by the Surrey RCMP Drug Unit at a residence in Whalley has resulted in a significant seizure of illegal drugs, cash, and a firearm.On August 20, 2020, as part of their proactive enforcement, Surrey RCMP Drug Unit observed two individuals involved in suspicious activity consistent with drug trafficking, outside a residence in the 9400-block of 129 Street. Missing 3-year-old girl found in Montreal

A search has been launched for a missing 3-year-old girl in Montreal. The girl is reportedly alive and talking. She had been missing since Sunday. The Quebec Provincial Police held a press conference to update the search for the girl. Sergeant Eloise Cosset said it was not possible to provide any further information about the circumstances under which the girl was found and what had happened over the past day and a half. He said another press conference would be held later to provide more information on the case. He also thanked the community for their support in helping to find the girl.

According to the Health Department, 113 people have died due to Corona since January 2025. The highest number of deaths have occurred in Kerala and Maharashtra. A total of 13 deaths have also occurred in Delhi. There are 6,483 active cases of Corona in 32 states and union territories of the country. So far 42 patients of Corona have been found in Punjab.
