A Manitoba teenager who was driving high when he hit a moose, injuring a passenger in his car, has received a hefty fine and a driving prohibition. The boy, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was 17 years old when the collision happened a year ago. Mounties say four people have died following a highway crash in southern Alberta. RCMP say a pickup truck and a passenger van collided near Taber, about 260 kilometres southeast of Calgary. Both drivers and two passengers in the van were killed. Six other passengers in the van were assessed at the scene and transported to various hospitals. Police say they continue to investigate.
