Punjabi youth died in California under suspicious circumstances
A Punjabi youth belonging to Kapurthala, Punjab died under suspicious circumstances in California. According to reports, the deceased youth was to be married on October 18, for which preparations were being made by the family.
The family of the deceased alleges that their son has been murdered, but the American police have given the family the cause of death as a heart attack.
The deceased youth has been identified as 32-year-old Gurjit Singh, a resident of Kapurthala. Gurjit was about to return to Punjab, for which he had packed his belongings and was preparing to board a flight to Punjab.

B.C. party leaders vying for votes set to debate on the radio
British Columbia's main party leaders are spending much of their day together, starting with a debate on the radio and moving on to a Greater Vancouver Board of Trade event to speak with business leaders.
NDP Leader David Eby, B.C. Conservative Leader John Rustad and Green Party Leader Sonia Furstenau will spend an hour debating on CKNW in Vancouver before moving on to the business event.
The board of trade says it also plans to release a 2024 provincial election survey of both its members and the general public.

Jasbir Singh Dimpa came to meet Kulbir Singh Zira
Former MP Jasbir Singh Dimpa reached his house today to meet former Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira, who was injured during the violent clash between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party supporters in Zira of Ferozepur, Punjab on Tuesday.
Dimpa said that the attack on the Congressmen in Zira took place under the control of the police. He alleged that Zira's DSP keeps hanging around with the Aam Aadmi Party MLA.

Malvinder Mali judicial remand extended to 14
The Mohali court has extended the judicial remand of Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu's former adviser Malwinder Singh Mali, who was arrested by the Punjab Police, till October 14.
