According to reports, the deceased youth was to be married on October 18, for which preparations were being made by the family. The family of the deceased alleges that their son has been murdered, but the American police have given the family the cause of death as a heart attack. The deceased youth has been identified as 32-year-old Gurjit Singh, a resident of Kapurthala. Gurjit was about to return to Punjab, for which he had packed his belongings and was preparing to board a flight to Punjab.
