Manitoba man arrested near Rideau Hall facing 22 charges

A man who allegedly drove a pickup truck through the gates of Rideau Hall in Ottawa now faces charges, but police are still not saying anything about his motive. He is identified as 46 year old Corey Hurren, a member of the military reserves. He was arrested by RCMP not far from the front door of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's current residence. 24 COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths reported in B.C.

BC is reporting three more deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 177. Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says two deaths occurred at Holy Family Hospital and one at Mission Memorial Hospital. Quebec tractor driver charged after accident kills three children, injures seven

A 38 year old Quebec man has been charged with criminal negligence after three young children were killed and seven people were injured when they were thrown from the front loader of a tractor. 18-year-old shooting suspect turns himself in to Burnaby RCMP

A suspect wanted in connection with a December 2025 shooting in North Burnaby has turned himself in to authorities. Burnaby RCMP said officers responded on Dec. 19, 2025, to a report of a shooting near Phillips Avenue and Woodbrook Place.
