Canada could get up to 1.1 million additional doses of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine by the end of March

Canada could get up to 1.1 million additional doses of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine by the end of March through the global vaccine-sharing initiative COVAX. That's if and when it's approved by Health Canada, and would be over and above Ottawa's existing agreement with the drugmaker. The Opposition Liberals say rebates promised to BC drivers due to the decline in crashes during the COVID-19 pandemic fall short of those in other jurisdictions.
