BC health officials say more than three-quarters of eligible adults have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, as the province reports 109 new cases. The Federal Court of Canada has upheld the constitutionality of the federal government's quarantine hotel program. Today's ruling written by Chief Justice Paul Crampton says that pandemics, like wars, require sacrifices to save lives and prevent broad-based suffering. Vehicle stunting results in impoundment and fines

Shortly after midnight on June 15, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received multiple similar reports from residents in the area of 20th Avenue and Oak Street. The callers stated they were hearing what sounded like gunshots and they observed a black Mustang speeding and doing stunts in the area. Some callers reported seeing two people hiding in an alleyway.Frontline members attended the area and located the two people, who stated a black Mustang had been following them around and the driver was shooting fireworks out of the vehicle at them. Two men charged in relation to Fryer brother double homicide

Two men have now been charged in relation to the double homicide of Carlos and Erick Fryer whose bodies were discovered in Naramata in May.On May 10, frontline officers attended a remote location up the Naramata Creek Forest Service Road after receiving information about an unresponsive person in need of medical attention. RCMP say Manitoba homicide suspect arrested in Ontario after firing at police

Ontario police say they were met with gunfire when they attempted to apprehend a man suspected in a homicide in Manitoba. 18-year-old shooting suspect turns himself in to Burnaby RCMP

A suspect wanted in connection with a December 2025 shooting in North Burnaby has turned himself in to authorities. Burnaby RCMP said officers responded on Dec. 19, 2025, to a report of a shooting near Phillips Avenue and Woodbrook Place. A man was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment. The RCMP’s Investigative Support Team took over the investigation.
