Vancouver Police have seized more than $4 million worth of drugs and $320,000 in cash in an investigation targeting gang activity in Metro Vancouver. "This is one of the larger drug seizures we have seen in Metro Vancouver in recent years," says Superintendent Lisa Byrne, VPD. "We believe this investigation, which ultimately led police to two major ‘stash houses,’ disrupted a significant drug-line supplying drugs in bulk." British Columbia health officials say there are COVID-19 outbreaks in five independent and assisted living care homes in the province. The BC RCMP has notified the Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia (IIO BC) of an incident in Surrey resulting in one man’s death. At approximately 6:30 am on Sunday July 4, 2021, the Nanaimo RCMP were notified by the BC Ambulance Service of a fatal ATV incident involving a 38-year-old Nanaimo man. Brampton man identified as homicide victim after body found in Stoney Creek

Hamilton Police have identified a man whose body was found in a Stoney Creek creek on Wednesday morning as 29-year-old Taranpreet Singh Sidhu of Brampton.
