Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma paid a visit to spiritual teacher Premanand Ji Maharaj at his ashram in Vrindavan on Tuesday morning.
During their visit, the couple joined other devotees as the guru delivered a discourse on devotion and faith. He spoke about the value of surrendering wholeheartedly to God, explaining that genuine faith is tested during difficult phases of life. According to him, many people turn to prayer seeking worldly gains, whereas true devotion lies in pursuing divine love and spiritual connection.
Kohli reportedly spent over an hour at the ashram listening to the teachings.
This was not their first visit. The couple had earlier travelled to the ashram on May 13, 2025, shortly after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket. At the time, they were said to have reflected on sermons highlighting self-introspection and the power of chanting God’s name as a path toward inner calm and spiritual growth.
