A teaser for a new song by late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was released on social media Friday, drawing significant online attention within minutes of its publication.
According to posts shared by the artist’s official team, the 34-second teaser for the track titled “Eyes On Me” was uploaded across multiple platforms earlier in the day. The clip recorded more than 15,000 likes on Instagram and over 120,000 views on YouTube shortly after release, based on platform counters at the time.
The teaser opens with a visual of Punjab’s map highlighting Mansa district, followed by scenes depicting a masked individual and stylized action sequences. The late singer is shown driving a vehicle and holding a firearm, while other characters appear to block his path. A brief lyric line is also featured in the clip.
The content and visuals have led to online speculation that the song may reference events surrounding Moosewala’s killing in 2022, though this has not been confirmed by his team. Connect Newsroom contacted representatives associated with the release for clarification on the song’s theme. No response was received by publication time.
Moosewala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead in Mansa district in May 2022. His music continues to be released posthumously by his management team.
