Tahira Kashyap’s cancer relapsed

Filmmaker and author Tahira Kashyap has once again demonstrated incredible resilience and poise in the face of personal challenges. On World Health Day, she openly shared with her followers that her breast cancer has returned for the second time—seven years after her first diagnosis in 2018.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tahira shared her journey, reflecting on the power of regular health checks. “Seven years or the benefits of consistent screenings—it's all about perspective,” she wrote. “I choose to focus on the latter and encourage everyone to prioritize regular mammograms. Round two for me... I’m still going strong.”

She also shared a poignant metaphor, saying, “When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. But when life gets extra generous and throws them at you again, you calmly squeeze them into your favorite kala khatta drink and enjoy it with positive intent. Because, not only is it a better drink, but you know you’ll give it your all once more.”
