Bollywood film Stree 2, featuring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, has officially become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film in India.

According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie's domestic box office collection has reached an impressive ₹583.35 crore nett after its fifth Monday in theaters. This horror-comedy sequel, following the success of 2018's "Stree," is directed by Amar Kaushik and penned by Niren Bhatt, blending humor and thrills to captivate audiences once again.

In comparison, Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 blockbuster Jawan holds the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. The action-packed film has suppose to amass a staggering lifetime collection of ₹640.25 crore net in India.

Released on September 7, 2023, Jawan marked Shah Rukh's second major film of the year, following the success of Pathaan and ahead of the anticipated Dunki.
