Saudagar Singh, father of Sidhu Moosewala’s former manager Shaganpreet Singh, has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with the firing at Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu’s home. The 65-year-old was arrested from Khanna on Friday and is the 10th person arrested in the case. Police had earlier arrested nine people, including two alleged shooters, and recovered weapons, including two Zigana pistols.

Renowned actor Mushtaq Khan has passed away. Known for his performances in films including Welcome, Gadar, Aashiqui, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Mushtaq Khan had won the hearts of audiences with his acting. Mushtaq Khan had been undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for the past 15 days. He had been battling cancer, which was diagnosed around five years ago. Police have arrested members of a gang allegedly involved in firing at the residence of Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu in Barnala.
