Sitting comfortably in one of Surrey’s cozy hotels, Shehnaaz Gill is all smiles as she films her upcoming Punjabi movie Singh vs Kaur, starring Gippy Grewal in the lead. The actress is also riding high on the success of her recent hit Ik Kuddi, which continues to run successfully in theatres across Surrey, Langley, and nearby areas.

In an organic and heartfelt chat with Connect Cine, Shehnaaz opened up about the film’s success and her journey as an actress. “This film means a lot to me—it’s proof that I’ve grown as an actor and earned my place,” she shared warmly.

Recalling a deeply emotional family moment, Shehnaaz revealed how her parents’ support has been her biggest motivation. “My entire family video-called me from the car and said they were going to watch Ik Kuddi in theatres. My heart swelled with pride, and a tear rolled down my cheek. That moment meant the world to me,” she said, visibly moved.

Shehnaaz also expressed gratitude for her family’s unwavering encouragement, saying she wouldn’t have come this far without them. Speaking fondly of her brother Shehbaz, who is currently in the Bigg Boss house, she added with a smile, “He’s doing his best, and I’m so proud of him for doing it all on his own.”
