Shareek 2 postponed!

The release of the much-awaited Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud starrer Punjabi film Shareek 2, which was scheduled to be released on 24 June, 2022 has been postponed to July 8, 2022. The announcement has been made by the team through a social media post.

The post read: Everytime you hear a Sidhu Moosewala song, it pushes you back into the endless thought and grief cycle. The decision to postpone Shareek 2 has also been taken in light of the incident and to respect people’s feelings and give them time to recover from the loss.

Most of the artists have postponed their shows, songs or films as a mark of respect to Sidhu Moosewala. The Shareek 2 team views the postponement as a way to protest against the event and to respect the feelings of the people. Earlier, the Shareek 2 team had also postponed the release of the film’s official trailer on 2 June.

Shareek 2, starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud in the lead, is directed by Navaniat Singh.

It is a sequel to the Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Guggu Gill, Oshin Brar and Mukul Dev starrer 2015 film, Shareek.
