Rani Mukherji to work with Shah Rukh Khan

After the blockbuster success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up once again with director Siddharth Anand for the high-octane action thriller King. Co-produced by Red Chillies and Marflix, the film features SRK and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, with Suhana Khan making her much-anticipated big-screen debut. The ensemble also includes Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma.

It is being said that Rani will play the mother of Suhana Khan’s character — a role that serves as an emotional catalyst in the storyline. Though her part requires just five days of filming, it’s said to be central to the narrative. Having previously shared the screen with SRK in several iconic films, Rani reportedly agreed to the role immediately upon hearing the script.
