Brijendra Pal Singh, popularly known as B.P. Singh, the producer of hit television shows CID and Aahat, passed away on Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit shared the news in a post on Instagram, confirming that Singh suffered a cardiac arrest earlier in the morning. His last rites will be performed on October 28. Singh gained nationwide recognition for producing CID, one of India’s longest-running crime-based television shows, which entertained audiences for nearly two decades.

Mumbai Police have increased security for Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff following a firing incident targeting his car in Mumbai on October 18. The incident took place shortly after the actor left the Juhu area after playing football. Tiger escaped unharmed, while his driver and another person sustained injuries. Following the incident, security was also tightened outside the actor’s residence. The Mumbai Police Security Branch has deployed bodyguards to protect Tiger Shroff.
