Official complaint filed against Anurag Kashyap over alleged sexual misconduct

Model turned actress Payal Ghosh who has levelled sexual harassment allegations against Anurag Kashyap has filed an official complaint against the filmmaker in Oshiwara Police Station Mumbai.

The actress along with her lawyer Nitin Satpute arrived at the Police station for registration of an FIR.

If found guilty under this offence, the accused can get 3 years of imprisonment under section 354 and 509 of Indian Penal Code.

The 'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' fame actress said that she wanted to speak about this for a long time, and now she has finally decided to get it off her head.

Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap rubbished all allegations of sexual misconduct levelled against him by the actress.

He took to social media to announce that he has been asked to remain silent.

His lawyer has released an official statement on behalf of the filmmaker as well.
