Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has pushed back against online criticism that followed her recent message calling for global harmony amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, including the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Earlier this week, the actor shared a video on Instagram urging people to choose compassion and unity at a time when images of unrest continue to dominate headlines. She assured followers that she is safe in India but acknowledged the fear and emotional strain many are experiencing as violence persists. While her intention was to promote peace, parts of social media reacted critically, with some questioning her comments on a sensitive geopolitical issue.
Addressing the backlash, Fatehi posted another video, firmly defending her position. She remarked that many critics were quick to respond without truly understanding her message, stressing that her appeal for peace transcended nationality, faith, or borders.
On the professional front, Fatehi was recently seen in the film Thamma, featuring in the track “Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka,” and will next appear in the Kannada action drama KD: The Devil.
