Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Delayed! Shoot Postponed to 2025

The upcoming Bollywood mythological film Ramayana has been the talk of the town ever since people got to know about it. The film is being directed by popular filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, known for directing movies like Dangal, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Bawaal and many more. While the film was scheduled to officially go on floors this year, the fans are upset as there seem to be some obvious delays for the same.

Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film Ramayana has been delayed and now the project’s shooting is expected to commence in 2025. As per the recent reports, a source close to the development has revealed Ramayana has been relayed due to “too many internal issues that need to be resolved”.

Earlier it was also speculated that Nitesh Tiwari would make the official announcement of Ramayana on April 17 on the occasion of Ram Navami. But for now, no update on the same is out. Coming to more details, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are reportedly playing Lord Rama and Sita, while some prominent actors like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Yash, and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly part of the project.

The official announcement of the project, its release date and star cast is awaited.
