Television and Bollywood actress Mouni Roy recently became the subject of intense social media chatter after debuting a new hairstyle that featured bangs. Online theories suggested that Mouni may have undergone surgery to alter the appearance of her forehead—possibly to reduce its size. The rumours quickly spread across various platforms, with users posting before-and-after photos, claiming to identify noticeable changes in her facial features.

For several days, Mouni chose to remain silent amid the growing buzz, neither confirming nor denying the claims. However, the actress finally addressed the controversy head-on during a recent media interaction at the trailer launch of her upcoming horror-comedy The Bhootnii.

When asked about the plastic surgery rumours, Mouni dismissed the chatter with grace and poise. “Kuch nahin. Dekhti hee nahi,” she said, referring to the online comments. “Let everyone do their job… I do not pay attention to such remarks. If you hide behind a screen to troll others, and if you find happiness in that, so be it.”
