Karan Johar’s Instagram Activity Sparks Buzz After Massive Unfollow Move

Filmmaker Karan Johar has left social media users surprised after making noticeable changes to his Instagram following list. Known for sharing candid moments from his personal life, fun industry interactions, and glimpses with his children, Karan enjoys a massive fan base of 17.5 million followers on the platform.

However, recently fans noticed that the director-producer had quietly unfollowed several celebrities from the film industry, triggering widespread speculation online. Among those no longer on his following list are superstar Shah Rukh Khan, actors Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan, as well as fashion designer and longtime friend Manish Malhotra.

What caught many by surprise was that Priyanka Chopra continues to remain on the list of accounts Karan follows. At present, his Instagram following count has reportedly dropped to just 78 accounts.

Several of Karan’s close Bollywood friends and former Dharma talents are also missing from the list, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Alia Bhatt.

While the sudden social media clean-up has become a hot topic among fans, Karan Johar has not yet issued any statement explaining the reason behind the move despite attempts to reach him for clarification.
