Comedian Kapil Sharma is gearing up to tickle funny bones once again as Netflix has officially greenlit the fifth season of his popular non-fiction comedy series, The Great Indian Kapil Show. The announcement was made recently during Netflix’s grand reveal of its upcoming India slate.
The new season is expected to bring in fresh comedy sketches, lively celebrity conversations, and the return of fan-favourite characters, further building what Netflix describes as Kapil Sharma’s ever-expanding comedy universe.
Since its launch, the show has consistently ranked among Netflix India’s most-watched non-fiction titles, cementing its place as a crowd favourite.
The series is helmed by director Anukalp Goswami and produced by Akshit Lahoria and Gurjot Singh.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma has also been in the news recently following reports related to a shooting incident at Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada, which drew widespread attention.
