Indian comedian and television host Kapil Sharma has announced the opening of a second location of his hospitality brand, Caps Cafe, marking another step in his expansion beyond entertainment and into the food and beverage sector. The new cafe is set to open in Dubai’s Al Kifaf neighbourhood, a busy area known for residential and commercial activity.

The Dubai outlet follows the launch of Caps Cafe in Canada, which drew attention from South Asian communities and fans of Sharma’s work. His decision to expand in international markets reflects a growing trend of Indian entertainers investing in hospitality ventures abroad, particularly in regions with large South Asian populations.

According to information shared by Sharma’s team, the Al Kifaf location was finalized through Kirpa Properties after reviewing more than 20 potential sites across Dubai. The selection process highlights the scale of planning involved as the brand looks to establish a long-term presence in the region.

The cafe is scheduled to open to the public on December 31, positioning it to attract both residents and visitors during the year-end holiday period. While detailed menu offerings have not yet been released, the brand has been promoted as a casual dining space inspired by Sharma’s personal tastes and public persona.

The expansion also underscores the broader economic links between Canada, the Gulf region, and India, where diaspora-driven businesses continue to grow in sectors such as hospitality and retail.
