Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is once again engulfed in controversy as she faces a disturbing situation. With the release of her highly anticipated film Emergency approaching, Kangana has reported receiving death threats. She has urgently appealed to law enforcement agencies across Maharashtra, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh to take immediate and decisive action to ensure her safety.

Kangana Ranaut, who serves as both the lead actress and director of Emergency, is currently under intense stress due to severe criticism and threats, notably from members of the Sikh community. The film, which depicts India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi during the 1975 Emergency, has been criticized for allegedly portraying Sikhs in a negative light. Harjinder Singh Dhami, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), has publicly called for the film’s ban, claiming that it misrepresents Sikhs and perpetuates damaging stereotypes.

The situation has become increasingly dire following the emergence of a video featuring Punjabi influencer Viky Thomas Singh, which has caused alarm on social media. In the video, Singh issues a chilling threat to Kangana Ranaut, invoking historical figures known for violence. His menacing words, "Agar hum sar katwa sakte hai toh sar kaat bhi sakte hai," (If we can sacrifice our heads, we can also take heads) have intensified fears for her safety.

Further escalating the tension, another individual in the video threatened that the release of the film would lead to violent repercussions not just from Sikhs, but from people of other faiths as well. The video rapidly went viral, inciting widespread public outrage and raising serious concerns about Ranaut's security.
