Homebound, featuring Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa in lead roles, has earned a spot at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) for its 2025 edition.

Announcing the news, producer Karan Johar posted on Instagram this Wednesday, writing: “#Homebound has officially been invited to the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival (@tiff_net) under the Gala Presentations lineup. Overjoyed and grateful to return to this renowned global stage—another proud moment for us at Dharma Productions.”

The movie centers on two lifelong companions from a remote northern Indian village who set out to secure positions in law enforcement—roles they believe will finally grant them the respect and validation they've been deprived of.
