Bad Bunny won Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards for his praised album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, capping off an unexpected, record-setting evening. It marked the first time a Spanish-language album claimed the show’s top honor.
Accepting the award in Spanish, Bad Bunny spoke proudly about Puerto Rico, saying the island is “so much bigger than 100 by 35,” a nod to its size.
Billie Eilish took home Song of the Year for “Wildflower” and used her speech to condemn immigration enforcement, declaring, “No one is illegal on stolen land,” and criticizing ICE.
Immigration emerged as a major theme throughout the night. Earlier, after winning Best Música Urbana Album, Bad Bunny also spoke out against ICE, emphasizing shared humanity.
