Hazel Keech says she worked as an extra in three Harry Potter films before Bollywood career

Actor Hazel Keech says she faced challenges establishing herself in India’s film industry, despite early screen appearances in a major international franchise. In a recent interview, she said building recognition in Bollywood required “a lot of struggle.”

Keech, who is married to former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh, said she appeared as an extra in three films from the Harry Potter series before moving into Indian cinema. According to her account, those credits include Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

She described the roles as minor but said she does not regret the experience, calling it part of her early journey in the industry.

Keech’s comments come as she reflects on her transition from small, uncredited roles in international productions to pursuing a career in Bollywood, where competition for recognition remains high.
