Gene Hackman found dead?

Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman, known for his iconic career spanning over six decades and two Academy Awards, has passed away at 95. He died alongside his wife, pianist Betsy Arakawa, and their dog at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office confirmed the discovery of their bodies late afternoon. While foul play is not suspected, the exact cause of death remains under investigation.

Hackman, a former Marine with a distinctive raspy voice, appeared in over 80 films, television shows, and stage productions. His career took off in 1967 with Bonnie and Clyde, earning his first Oscar nomination. He won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1993 for Unforgiven and was nominated again for Mississippi Burning (1988).
