Cricket icon Yuvraj Singh is stepping off the pitch and into the kitchen with his latest venture — a cozy, stylish restaurant called Koca, nestled in the heart of Gurugram, just outside Delhi. The former Indian cricketer has channelised his energy into a new passion- food.

Koca, which translates loosely to a term of endearment, is Yuvraj’s heartfelt entry into the hospitality world. The place offers diners a glimpse into the cricketer’s personal journey — from childhood favorites to dishes that sustained him through life’s toughest innings.

For the cancer survivor and sports legend, Koca is a love letter to the meals and memories that helped shape him.

While Yuvraj may be the newest cricketer to join the restaurateur ranks, he’s in good company. Virat Kohli’s upscale eatery has been making waves across Indian cities, while Suresh Raina’s Amsterdam-based spot is a taste of India overseas. Legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan, too, have ventured into the food and beverage space, proving that the cricket-to-culinary pipeline is very much alive.
