FIR against Orry for drinking alcohol during Vaishno Devi visit

Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, is facing legal trouble after a case was filed against him at the Katra police station in Jammu. He has been accused of breaching the District Magistrate's directive by consuming alcohol at a five-star hotel in the holy town, a photo of which has gone viral on social media.

Orry had recently visited Jammu with eight friends to pay homage at the Vaishno Devi temple. However, the Jammu and Kashmir Police filed an FIR against him on March 15 for violating the rules.

While staying at a hotel, Orry and his group were made aware that drinking alcohol and consuming non-vegetarian food inside the cottage suite was prohibited due to the sacred nature of the Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage site. Despite this warning, they went ahead and disregarded the restrictions.
