While Umbrella stands out as one of Channi Nattan’s well-received tracks, fans may have noticed his absence from its official video.

Channi Nattan and Inderpal Moga are two of the most beloved artists in the Punjabi music industry, known for delivering chart-topping hits. In an exclusive conversation with Connect Cine, the duo opened up about their journey and an unexpected turn of events during the making of Diljit Dosanjh’s superhit song Umbrella.

While Umbrella stands out as one of Channi Nattan’s well-received tracks, fans may have noticed his absence from its official video. For the first time, Channi revealed the reason behind this in our interview. He shared that both he and Inderpal Moga were supposed to be part of the music video and were thrilled about it. They had even bought new outfits for the shoot, anticipating an exciting collaboration.

However, due to a misunderstanding, they were abruptly removed from the video shoot at the last minute. According to Channi, someone falsely communicated to Diljit’s team against them, leading to their exclusion from the project. Despite this, the duo remained on set, watching the shoot unfold while standing in the very outfits they had purchased for the occasion.

Although this incident was disappointing, things eventually took a positive turn. Diljit personally reached out to both Channi and Inderpal, clarifying the situation and ensuring they were featured in the video of another hit song “Vibe”.

This story not only sheds light on an unexpected setback but also highlights Diljit Dosanjh’s integrity and willingness to make things right. Watch the full interview on Connect Cine’s YouTube channel for more insights!
