On being asked about the media reports revealing Salman Khan's disappointment with Bharat, not only Ali Abbas Zafar dismissed all rumors spreading misinformation about his bad equation with Salman Khan but also praised the Sultan star for his honest character.

Ali Abbas Zafar, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff recently spoke about his equation with Bollywood's Bhaijaan Salman Khan. In an exclusive conversation with Fridoon Shahryar on Connect Cine, Ali Abbas Zafar defined his relationship with Salman Khan as 'very special'.

On being asked about the media reports revealing Salman Khan's disappointment with Bharat, not only Ali Abbas Zafar dismissed all rumors spreading misinformation about his bad equation with Salman Khan but also praised the Sultan star for his honest character.

He said, "The good and the best which everyone knows about Salman sir is that he is very transparent in what he is as a human being. He is very honest. He doesn't want to impress anyone with anything. He is a very secure star. If he loves you, he will love you to death. If he's angry with you, he will show that anger. If he doesn't like you, he will let you know. And I feel that's the honesty that we should have. We should express how we feel about each other.”

Additionally, to the questions for his highly anticipated and demanded reunion with Salman Khan for a film, the Tiger Zinda Hai director said, "Even though we have not worked in the last 5-6 years, whenever we met each other, or spoke to each other, we speak with the same love and respect. My respect for him is very very high.”

He also added, “I love him so much that no matter what happens, I always want to collaborate with him. Whenever I write something, he is the first actor that comes to my mind. And I feel there is no one who is as funny as he is, and as smart as him when it comes to his intelligence.”

In his concluding statement, he expressed his desire to work with Salman Khan by saying, “I'm always excited to work with him. Let's see and pray that Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan is a big success and I come to him and say sir we need to make a film, a big one. I will look forward to a collaboration with Bhai, for sure.”

Ali Abbas Zafar feels he needs a special and strong story and character to offer to Salman Khan. However, his fans must be happy to know about the special bond the filmmaker and Salman share with each other.
