Yes, people in rural areas are often depicted as simple, which is exactly what Dupahiya captures beautifully. Director Sonam Nair has stayed true to the innocence of the story, the setting, and the characters. In fact, she has gone above and beyond to make them even more relatable, creating a sense of familiarity that feels refreshing.

The dialogues are straightforward, effortlessly reflecting the right accents, adding to the authenticity of the characters.
