In the wake of her announcement regarding her separation from her husband, the renowned Oscar and Grammy-winning music composer A.R. Rahman, Saira Rahman has opened up about her health struggles, revealing that she has been "physically unwell for the last couple of months" and that her decision to step back from her husband was driven by the need for personal space to focus on her well-being.

In an emotional voice note shared by her lawyer, Vandana Shah, Saira spoke candidly about her health issues and her deep respect for A.R. Rahman. Referring to herself by name, she expressed gratitude and trust in him, calling him "a gem of a person."

Saira also urged the public and media to refrain from spreading any negativity about her husband, stressing that the split was purely a personal matter linked to her health. She addressed the Tamil media and YouTube community directly, requesting that they not tarnish A.R. Rahman’s image.

In her message, Saira shared that she had made the difficult decision to leave Chennai for medical treatment. "Yes, it’s just because of my health issues that I had to leave Chennai. I know some of you might be wondering where I am, but I am in Bombay now, focusing on my treatment," she explained. "This move was necessary as it’s something that couldn’t have been managed with AR’s busy schedule in Chennai."
