Divorce Shocker in Bollywood- Sunita Ahuja

In a surprising turn for fans and the entertainment sector, Sunita Ahuja, spouse of veteran Bollywood star Govinda, has reportedly initiated divorce proceedings at the Bandra Family Court. This follows her emotional appearance in a vlog addressing ongoing speculation about their marriage.

As per an entertainment website, Sunita filed the petition under Section 13 (1) (i), (ia), and (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, citing adultery, cruelty, and abandonment as reasons for ending their 38-year union. The court summoned Govinda on May 25, but he has missed all hearings, leading to a show cause notice. While Sunita has regularly attended court and counseling since June 2025, Govinda's absence has been notable.

In a recent vlog that reignited interest in their relationship, Sunita was seen at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Temple, where she became emotional speaking to a priest. She shared, “When I met Govinda, I prayed for a good life with him, and the Goddess granted my wishes. However, life has its challenges. I trust that Maa Kaali will protect my family from anyone who tries to harm it.”
