Dipika Kakkar battles stage 2 cancer

Television star Dipika Kakar, best known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, has revealed she is battling a stage 2 malignant tumor in her liver. The actress shared the difficult news with her fans through a heartfelt message on Instagram on Tuesday.

“Over the past few weeks, life has taken an unexpected turn,” Dipika wrote. “What started as a visit to the hospital due to pain in the upper stomach led to the discovery of a liver tumor the size of a tennis ball. Further tests confirmed it is a stage 2 malignant tumor.”

Describing it as one of the most challenging periods she and her family have faced, Dipika expressed gratitude for the support around her. “I’m staying strong and positive, determined to overcome this with the love of my family and the overwhelming prayers and support from all of you. InshAllah, I will come out of this stronger. Please keep me in your prayers,” she added.

Earlier this month, her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, disclosed in a YouTube vlog that Dipika had been diagnosed with a large tumor in her liver, but further details were not shared until now.
