Diljit Dosanjh's fans and the media were abuzz with curiosity as the popular singer-actor was notably absent from the trailer launch of his much-anticipated film "Main Vaapas Aaunga" in Mumbai on May 19. Currently on his international AURA World Tour 2026, Diljit was unable to attend the event in person.

Directed by the renowned Imtiaz Ali, the film also stars Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and the legendary Naseeruddin Shah. To connect with his supporters, Diljit sent a heartfelt pre-recorded video message, explaining his absence and conveying his good wishes to the film's team.

In his message, Diljit cheerfully stated, "Hey everyone, this is Diljit Dosanjh. Sending love and greetings to all of you. You’re about to watch the trailer for 'Main Vaapas Aaunga,' so enjoy! I’m currently in Texas and couldn’t make it. Tonight's show is sold out, and I’m busy here. You all take care and I’ll be back soon. Enjoy the trailer—if you love it, share it!
