Popular Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh obtained U.S. citizenship in 2022 and has since been using a U.S. passport for his travels, according to a recent report.
The article noted that Dosanjh is no longer an Indian citizen and has been visiting India on an e-visa since September 1, 2022. Sources indicated that this also suggests he does not possess an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. Renowned for his strong Punjabi roots and his iconic phrase “Main Hoon Punjab,” Dosanjh’s last Indian passport was issued in Mumbai in 2018, while a previous one was issued in Zambia.
Additionally, the report mentioned that his wife, Sandeep Kaur, is also a U.S. citizen. When applying for American citizenship, Dosanjh reportedly listed a five-bedroom home in California as his residence.
